Penguin

A penguin's body is shaped like a cylinder. The cylinder waddles when the penguin moves, portraying a comical character of a clown with a tuxedo. They walk upright, have flippers instead of wings. May be these comic movements are making humans so affectionate to the penguins.

Nature has given the penguins a black and white greasy plumage to protect them form the harsh environments that they live in. The basic colors of black, white and yellow beak on a cylinder shaped body, makes penguins easily recognized of all birds. A simple shape and basic colors have given so much character to the penguins.

Penguins dive under water to catch fish, which is their diet. They have the capability to stay under water for lengthy periods of time. How they could stay underwater for so long is not fully understood.
